Mold and Indoor Air Quality
PURPOSE: There are over 10,000 mold- and asbestos-related cases currently pending in the judicial system. The number of such suits, from property owners, the private sector, voucher programs, and public housing authorities in general, is growing.
NMA’s one-day workshop provides detailed instruction on how to identify, prevent, and remediate indoor air quality hazards like radon, asbestos, mold, and lead-based paint. Learn to develop a proactive approach that will help reduce your liability exposure.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: Upon completion of the Mold and Indoor Air Quality Training, using HUD regulations and guidance, you should be able to:
- Recognize the risks of inaction
- Identify how the hazards are created, and the core reasons for problems
- Implement preventative measures to put an end to recurring problems and hazard exposure
- Apply best practice solutions to the problems, including execution and follow-up
